Gerovital H3, 100 mg, 24 film-coated tablets, Zentiva

Indications:

Gerovital H3 is a medicine containing a substance called procaine hydrochloride.

This medicine is used to prevent the signs of aging.

Contraindications:

Do not take Gerovital H3:

- if you are allergic to procaine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and fertility:

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

There is insufficient information regarding the administration of the medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding. For this reason, the use of the medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Method of administration:

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Dosage:

Between courses of injectable treatment—for which the recommended dose is 5 ml (one ampoule) of Gerovital H3 solution for injection administered intramuscularly once daily, three times a week for 4 weeks—oral treatment is added: 2 Gerovital H3 film-coated tablets daily for 12 days. The treatment is repeated 5–6 times a year. In some cases, depending on the intensity and location of the degenerative process, treatment may be administered solely by the oral route: 3 film-coated tablets daily for 21 days, in 6–8 treatment courses per year.

Composition:

- The active substance is procaine hydrochloride. One film-coated tablet contains 100 mg of procaine hydrochloride.

- The other ingredients are: tablet core: benzoic acid, potassium metabisulfite, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, maize starch, mannitol, gelatin, talc, magnesium stearate. Film coating: methacrylic acid copolymer (Type C), macrogol 4000, sodium hydrogen carbonate, talc, polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide (E171).
